The Soaring Spirits Resilience Center was founded by a group of fifteen widowed people who believed that the time for creating a library of research specific to the widowed experience was long overdue. These individuals were able to envision this possibility, and also willing to fund the beginning steps of developing a research center whose priority would be the study of resilience in widowhood. Through this generous and dedicated group of people this center was founded to honor, to remember and to create a legacy of love for the men and women whose stories you will find on the pages to follow. Long live love.
The Soaring Spirits Resilience Center’s work is dedicated to the memory of people whose lives have ended, but our love for them remains. Doing this work in honor of our loved ones is a demonstration of integrating our past with our present in a healthy way and building resilience as we pave the way to our future upon a foundation of love that began in our past.
Our sustaining donors are supporting the ongoing work of the Soaring Spirits Resilience Center in honor of a person they love who has died. This page recognizes the amazing lives of moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, wives, husbands, partners, brothers, sisters, children, friends...anyone whose life ended too soon and whose love has made a difference in your life.
You are welcome to join us, we'd be honored to continue our work in memory of someone you love and miss.
