The Soaring Spirits Resilience Center provides research-informed, peer-based programming for widowed men and women. We also provide community resources for professionals who support, interact with and advocate for the widowed. These resources are offered free-of-charge, we ask that authorship information remain intact and no changes be made to the text of any document. Soaring Spirits International was established in 2008 to provide a unique peer-based support community for widowed people around the world. SSI is an inclusive, secular organization dedicated to connecting widowed people with each other to provide hope and healing through the grieving process.
Thank you for being a part of a support team for someone who is widowed. Our research shows that access to hope is one of the key indicators of life satisfaction for widowed people with access to a supportive community being another important building block for resilience and post-traumatic growth.
